North Star students lend their creative hands to children’s museum
Students from the Lincoln North Star High School chapter of the National Art Honor Society unveiled a backdrop they painted for the theater stage at the Lincoln Children’s Museum during a special event on Wednesday.
The students worked on the project since February, said North Star art teacher Brooke Gillotti, the chapter’s advisor. Last year, students created a mural for the Irvingdale Pool.
The following students worked on the backdrop, which has a space theme that includes depictions of characters such as Buzz Lightyear and Marvin the Martian:
