Two elementary schools to celebrate anniversaries

Two LPS elementary schools are celebrating anniversaries during the coming weeks.

• Saratoga Elementary, 2215 S. 13th St., will celebrate its 125th anniversary on Sunday, March 25, with an open house from 1 to 3 p.m. There will be refreshments and tours of the school.
• Calvert Elementary, 3709 S. 46th St., will celebrate its 60th birthday on April 7, with an open house from 2 to 4 p.m. There will be refreshments, student-led tours and a presentation by Lincoln historian Ed Zimmer about the history of Calvert.
